30secPosters — Privacy Policy

Welcome

This Privacy Policy explains how 30secPosters collects, uses and protects your information when you use our service to create personalised posters.

Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use 30secPosters:

• Your email address, when you make a purchase, request to restore access, or request a renewal.
• The photo(s) you upload, used only to create your poster.
• Basic browser, device and technical information (such as browser type, operating system and device identifiers where applicable), used to enforce our device limits and to understand how visitors use the app.
• Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create your poster and provide access to the app for the period you purchase.
• Send you purchase confirmations, restore-access links, and renewal reminder emails.
• Enforce our device limits on the restore-access feature.
• Understand how people find and use 30secPosters, so we can improve it.

Photo processing and storage

Your uploaded photo is used only to generate your poster. It is not permanently stored by 30secPosters after your poster has been created. Temporary copies may exist only for the duration of processing by our third-party image processing provider before being automatically deleted in accordance with that provider’s applicable data retention practices.

Payment information

All payments are processed by Stripe. 30secPosters does not collect or store your card details. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with the third-party services that help us run 30secPosters, including:

• Stripe — to process payments.
• Supabase — to securely store account and access information.
• MailerLite — to send purchase, welcome and renewal reminder emails.
• MailerSend — to send restore-access magic link emails.

These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services to us, and process that information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law.

Some of our service providers process or store information outside New Zealand. By using 30secPosters, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in other countries where our service providers operate.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to remember that you’ve agreed to our Terms of Use, and to save an in-progress poster so you don’t lose your work if you’re taken to checkout or asked to restore access. This information stays on your device and is not used for advertising.

Children’s information

30secPosters is intended for use by adults (18 and over). Parents and guardians may upload photos of children to create posters for them, and are responsible for having the appropriate consent to do so, as set out in our Terms of Use.

Data retention

We keep a record of completed purchases for our business and accounting records. We keep your access and account information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and to support restore-access and renewal requests.

Your rights

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request that it be deleted. Some information may not be deleted immediately where we’re required to keep it for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or other legal purposes.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of 30secPosters means you accept the updated policy.
